A Big Thank You to the crew from Pheonix American PAFS Ireland Ltd who took time out of their busy workday to come to Shannon FRC and help us painting the premises. We learned all about their operations in the industrial estate and explained to them about the work we do at Shannon Family Resource Centre.

Play Therapy 2023
Shannon FRC has secured additional funding to enhance our therapeutic services for children and families in the community in 2023 based on the significant increase in demand for such services from school, HSE, CAMHS and other services in the community in 2022. A New Play Therapy service will be available to young people aged 3-12years and will be provided by a professional play therapist Janette Casey (CEO of Play Therapy Ireland).
The service will provide 50 minute sessions of therapeutic play therapy interventions to young people who are struggling to cope in certain areas of their life at present. The therapist utilises a range of tools to deal with the spectrum of childrens emotional, behavioural and mental health problems.
