Mid West ARIES (Advancing Recovery in Ireland Education Service)

Mid West ARIES (Advancing Recovery in Ireland Education Service) offers a range of courses, information and educational materials on Recovery and Well-Being in Mental Health in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary.

Vision
To provide the Mid West Region with an inspirational and inclusive educational programme on recovery and well-being.


Mission

To provide education and resources created and delivered by service users, family members, carers and mental health professionals.
To inspire hope, create opportunities and foster the belief that recovery and well-being are possible.
To promote education as a tool in mental health recovery.
To make this programme available in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary.
To promote a culture of inclusivity, mutual respect and learning among all: service providers, service users, family members, friends, carers and anyone with an interest in mental health and well-being.
What does Mid West ARIES offer?
Mid West ARIES has a range of courses, information and educational materials on Recovery and Well-being in Mental Health. The courses are then co-delivered by people with lived experience, family members and staff working within the services. This is a different way to how other courses are usually created and delivered.

Aware is the national organisation providing free support, education and information services to those impacted by anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and related mood conditions.
 
AWARE ONLINE SELF-DIRECTED PROGRAMMES
These online programmes aim to support your mental well-being. They are self-directed so that you can complete them in your own time. There are no waiting times, and you can start straight away. Aware recommends completing one programme at a time to get the most from each. You may find these programmes helpful to work through while you wait for the next Life Skills Online programme to open for registration. These programmes are available to anyone aged 18 years and over who resides in Ireland.

AWARE ONLINE TUTOR-LED WELLBEING PROGRAMS
Aware delivers a range of wellbeing programmes to empower adults and young people with the knowledge and skills to look after their mental health and build resilience. The current batch of courses is fully subscribed, so please check their website for when the next programme opens for registration. Spaces are limited, and booking early is advised.

AWARE PRE-RECORDED LECTURES & WEBINARS
Monthly webinars featuring expert speakers on various topics connected to mental health. Initially, the Aware Lecture Series took place in person in Dublin; now, the Aware Webinar Series is online, meaning you can log in from anywhere in the country and watch live.
