Life Coaching
'Supporting Positive Change'

Shannon Family Resource Centre

Life Coaching for Women
'Promoting Positive Change'.

‘Life coaching supporting positive change’ aims to support 8 women living in the Shannon Community that meet the criteria for the programme to explore the current challenges in their lives and offer them an opportunity to engage in three professional personal development workshops and 6 x 1:1 life coaching sessions to assist them in identifying and developing a supportive step by step plan for positive change in their lives.

The purpose of providing this programme is to support the participants to break down challenges in their lives and develop individualised step by step action plans that each can adopt to begin to make positive choices which will aim to improve their lives and their families lives for the better as a result.
The life coach will seek to build up the participants confidence and self-awareness and help them to identify their go to coping mechanisms and decide if these are healthy or unhealthy and support them to identify and develop alternative coping strategies for dealing with life events into the future. The theme of self-care and wellness will be evident throughout the workshops and 1:1 sessions also.
