As a parent part of the job is to prepare children for the online world and to ensure that they are safe and respectful online. Webwise.ie is a very useful website with a dedicated parent support section covering a range of topics from what to do if your child is the victim of cyberbullying to what parents need to know about sexting!
On SpunOut.ie we provide information on a range of different topics broken down into sections; education, employment, health, life and opinion. the website is ran by young people for young people but is a very useful tool for parents to explore also as you will find useful articles, videos and more written by young people that can help you communicate an issue or concern with your teenager.
